Hello everyone,
I'm simulating a 2D flow over a cylinder (FSI) using ANSYS Fluent. I have obtained the lift-coefficient (Cl) at Y-axis but unfortunately I wasn't able to get the displacement. Please could anyone help me with a formula or UDF I can use to calculate the cylinder's displacement at Y-axis?. Thanks! NOTE: I used dynamic meshing and the cylinder oscillates at Y-axis only. Lift-coefficient = 1.25 Diameter of cylinder = 48mm. Last edited by Faisal Illo; April 5, 2022 at 01:43. Reason: Diameter correction*** |
