Hello all,
I am trying to model a propellor in Fluent and facing a negative cell volume issue when trying to preview mesh motion (transient simulation). - I have tried very low timesteps (~e-8 s) to no avail - Mesh (tet with prisms) was created ICEM and there aren't any negative cell volumes. I did a mesh check before importing it to fluent. - The steady model (frame motion - I guess MRF?) works fine but the unsteady sliding mesh doesn't I am using fluent for the first time and could be setting up interfaces wrongly. I have attached a picture of the interface set-up for you guys to see. I am not sure what is going wrong. I did a finer mesh and a coarser mesh but the problem still persists. Any troubleshooting idea would be really helpful. Furthermore, the wider objective of this study is to model flow-induced noise. Any tips on how to go about it in fluent would be great too. Thank you |
