Hi guys,
I was looking around to see how to simulate the particle tracks in terms of the line. And I realised that actually in some versions of the ansys fluent there is a possibility to choose the line as the form of particle tracks style. (as shown in the picture) However, when I am using the student version of Ansys workbench 2021 R2, I cant seem to get that style. Its only point or sphere. Why is that the case? Is it the version problem? |

There aren't version restrictions.
But there are some restrictions when certain models are used in parallel with shared memory options. So check your environment and your case in general. |

I am simulating the spread of covid19 in outdoor. Transient flow, rng k-epilson, DPM with interaction with continuous phase together with stochastic collision, coalescence, break up, hybrid initialize. For the particles used for injection i used water-liquid inert particle to simulate. Why would it cause it to not have the particle residence time tracked in a line form? What should I change? |

Environment means options when launch the software.
Btw you are showing a screenshot of CFD Post which is not the same thing as Fluent. Maybe that's your problem. |
