Hi friends
I have little knowledge of CFD and Fluent. I have questions about simulating a vertical axis wind turbine in Fluent. Problem specifications are as below: * 3 blades H type VAWT * 2D simulation * Unsteady * wind speed= 5 m/s * Tip Speed Ratio= 1, 1.5 , 2 , 2.5 , 3 * time step size= 0.0001 s * K-omega SST model How can I calculate and check "Y+" in Fluent? How many "time step" is required to the problem converges? How many "iteration per time step" is required? How can I calculate the "average torque coefficient"? I know that the torque coefficient= torque/(0.5*rho*v^2*A*L) but I don't know how I can calculate and save it in the Fluent software. Thanks Last edited by amind; June 1, 2021 at 14:43. |
