Dear members,
I am running a simulation of flow around an airfoil. My case is transient. I am trying to calculate the lift coefficient, however, the lift coefficient plot is oscillating periodically and I am not getting a constant value for lift coefficient. - What is the correct way to calculate the life coefficient in transient cases? - Should the lift coefficient plot become constant in transient cases or it is normal to have oscillation? - is it correct to calculate the lift coefficient by running steady state simulation even if the case is transient? - or should I take the mean value of two peaks on the oscillating lift coefficient plot and consider it as a lift coefficient? Thank you in advanced |
