Hello,
I am using the VOF Model for modelling the formation of oil droplets in water. My geometry consists of two straight channels in the form of the letter 'T'. The coontinuos phase is water. In my case I want to assume that the continuous phase (water) completely wets the channel wall, and the droplet formation occurs at the junction without spreading on the wall. So in other words I want to have a small water film between the wall and the droplet. In my simulation however the oil droplet spreads directly on the wall... I have tried to refine the mesh near the wall but it did not help. Has anybody an idea how to tell to Fluent to make this small liquid film? Thank you in advanced ! |

Adhesion is also activated and the contact angle is 120 degrees (taken from an experimental study)
