Hello Everyone,
I am using species transport model for simulating my chemical reaction. there are two reactants which reacts and forms two products. Reactant_1+Reactant_2<-->Product_1+Product_2. From my experimental investigation I have feed flow rate of reactant_1 and reactant_2 in kg/s. and both reactants are going inside the cylinder at the same time. Geometry is cylindrical with one inlet and outlet. I have few questions to implement this on FLUENT. (1) I have one inlet and i can give mass flow rate but I dont know which mass flow rate i have to consider(reactant_1 or reactant_2). (2) If i am using reactant_1 mass flow rate and will give mass fraction/mole fraction in species panel (for reactant_1 and reactant_2), is it the right way of doing it? (3) Do I have to provide two different inlets and give feed flow rate of each reactant with mole fraction of each as 1 individually and for other as 0? |
