Hello everybody, I am trying to simulate a Pre-mixed combustion in fluent. I have selected 'adiabatic' and 'c- equation' options.
I have imported a ethanol combustion Chemkin mechanism in fluent, I can see all species under the 'fluid' tab under the 'material' tab. I am using a 2-D model of a cross section of combustion chamber. I have defined one edge as inlet and the other as outlet. My question is how to define inlet species in this case?. I have selected the type as 'mass flow' inlet. But under the species tab, I can only specify the 'Progress variable'. Is it possible to specify inlet species in this case? If not, how is fluent processing the chemkin mechanism for ethanol I have inputted. Any help will be appreciated. |
