Hi all,
I have been using Eddy dissipation concept in Species transport along with k-w sst to model methane combustion in a fairly turbulent burner. While I use the NOx model available to predict the NOx emissions which are near to experiment or real world, I don’t see a way to predict CO emissions using this method as the fuel and its components always seem to be fully used up in the results with zero CO. This is not the case in real world where there is always some CO left. Is there any other way to model CO emissions properly without doing the entire set of underlying reactions of Methane combustion? Thanks in advance. |
