Hi all,
I am using fluent to do a combustion simulation with imported CHEMKIN gas phase and surface mechanism files. After initialization , I patched a 1600K temperature to the whole computation domain to 'ignite' mixture. I found a phenomenon that confuses me a lot. That is when I use hybrid initialization, then the maximum temperature will drop all the way down to room temperature like reactions never happen. however, if I use standard initialization, then temperature would rise to a not very reasonable high temperature and the tempeture will keep at this high level no matter how many iterations I run. I am wondering why would this happen? why would initialiation method makes a difference ? Best regards weiqiang |
