Hi dear friends
I am trying to simulate effect of electrical field on two-phase flow using Maxwell and MHD (fluent) I have simulated electric field in Maxwell and linked "solution" to "setup" of fluent (MHD is activated) as 1st fig.: I also activated MHD module, here are my problems: 1- I am not sure if I have exported electric field properly. In fact I couldn't produce .MAG file. 2- By clicking on "apply external field" in "electrical potential" of MHD module in ansys (as bellow), I can see a field which is apparently produced by maxwell. But, once I click to apply, it just freeze and do nothing until I close the app by "end Task" (\fig. 2) unfortunately, I couldn't find any relevant tutorial to tackle this problem. I will be truly grateful if you share your experience or help with me. best regards |

Hi zese,
I'm also trying to simulate the effect of an external electric field on charged particles using MHD model. were you able to find useful resources? Thanks! |
