Hi guys
I am using the melting and solidification model to simulate the melting of pcm inside water tank
The boundary conditions defined are the temp of the heating pipes at the bottom of the tank (surface temp defined as function of time )
Both water and PCM was defined as Boussinesq
water
properties are constant ( didn't define latent heat or solidus or liquidus temp as water won't change phase )
PCM
properties are constant .. solidus and liquidus temp = 41 C
The problem is
As shown in photos , the results is going smoothly and correct until suddenly it goes up severly and became unlogical .. so what may cause this ?

Hey. try to use graphs for the average volume. Because it is not logical to look at the result on the surface. The graph is presented as an example and nothing else.
