Hi
I was able to simulate the project of melting the pcm in a tube that is heated by both the tube and the battery, only the pcm melts faster than the actual laboratory conditions. Especially from the side of the chamber tube. What should I do to reduce the melting rate? |

if the pcm melts faster than the actual laboratory conditions, it means pcm gets more energy, decrease it

change heat source
or/and change material properties or/and add contact heat resistance or/and add convection/radiation or/and take into account phase transfer effects
