Hello, bro!

Can anybody help me to find out how to write fluent *dat file with only variables that i need in my solver?
For example, i solve the flow and in the future i need only velocity component, so... where i can indicate to write in *dat file only velocity without density, temperature and other variables?
I need that because my *dat files is very big and i want to did it smaler.

best regard
for all.

I suggest saving .cdat files instead of .dat if your concern is having a rich time-series for post-processing. The files are usually smaller for the few variables of interest.

Calculation activities (left-click twice, NOT on the arrow for the droplist) -> automatic export -> create -> solution data export.

In "file type" make sure you choose "CFD-Post compatible" (for .cdat) if you are indeed post-processing with CFD-Post. Below you can choose the saving frequency (in respect to the time-steps or flow-time). To the right, in "quantities" choose all your variables of interest for exporting.

As .cdat file are not compatible with Fluent's interface, make sure you save some .dat files in a while, in case you want to restart your processing from a previous solution or something goes wrong.

thanks!
