Hello all,
I have a query regarding possibility of resolving "Coal Pyrolysis" in Fluent. In Fluent, by default Coal Gasification s solved involving O2. Coal + O2 --> Xx In my case, the heat source is supplied from the wall. With that heat, the coal gets decomposed and release volatiles + Char product as shown below. Dry Coal → solid product + gas (Arrhenius model) Is it possible to resolve such phenomenon in Fluent ? Kindly someone share the ideas. Thank you PS: I have solved this phenomenon partially in OpenFOAM, I would like to validate by Fluent and compare my parameters |
