Hi,
I am simulating acoustophoresis phenomena. To have propagation of acoustic waves in a fluid (water) I need compressibility so I enable compressible liquid treatment. The waves are generate by a piezoelectric trasducer. The problem is that at the outlet (pressure outlet) there is a perturbation that propagates inside the channel, so I want to apply a non reflecting boundary condition, but when I select this option in the pressure outlet dialog box and i begin the analysis I have divergence problem. I check the fluent guide and I don't find an incompatibility between the two conditions. Is there a problem of compatibility between the non reflecting condition and the compressibility liquid method? Last edited by Luigi*; December 2, 2020 at 09:12. |

Do you have any advice?
