Is there a way to modify the models of Surface tension of fluent by an UDF?
I want to propose a new way to calculate the normal, or implement a model of the literature. Is it possible? |

It is possible to do that by adding the surface tension force as a source term using a UDF, however I'm still trying to figure out how to do that for my research work right now. Have you made any progress on that front?

I need to modify the interface curvature term in CSF model, and hence need to replicate the CSF model with the changes and hook that as a source term.
I do not need to define the "surface tension coefficient", that is a fixed value in my case, like 0.072N/m. If someone has worked on anything similar and has a sample UDF, that would be great because I wrote a UDF but I do not know what to type in for the dS[eqn] part. I could not understand that from the Fluent theory manual. I could use all the help I can get. |
