Hi all!
I use SIMPLE algorithm for pressure-velocity coupling scheme to simulate inviscid flow around a wing section. This case works fine on a computer with fluent version 19R1. When I run the same case on another computer with fluent version 19R3, I got a divergent result. I didn't make any changes in the case. Here are my settings for solution method:
gradient--least squares cell based
pressure--second order
momentum--second order upwind
transient--first order implicit
I have several questions:
1)Is there any difference in SIMPLE algorithm between 19R1 and 19R3? I've read the theory guide, yet no update or change is mentioned.
2)Is there any difference in solution method default setting between 19R1 and 19R3?
Any help would be much appreciated.
