Dear friends,
I am trying to couple Maxwell and Fluent in order to analyze an electric generator (electromagnetic & thermal analyses) In fact, the heat loss is calculated inside Maxwell and it is mapped into Fluent software program. A problem comes up when I simulate half of the geometry inside Maxwell and Fluent (180 Degrees). The heat loss which is mapped into Fluent is twice as high as the loss calculated in Maxwell. Generally, when I simulate (1/n) of the geometry, the mapped loss inside Fluent equals n*(calculated Loss in Maxwell). I have no idea how to correct such discrepancy!! Does anybody have any ideas? I appreciate your attention. Best Regards Sasan Ghomi |
