Hi all,

I tried to export xy data in a two dimensional case. x is position coordinate and y is exported values. I found that exported data will suddenly jump from one position to a far away position. For example, the whole length of the two D surface is 15 mm, the exported position would jump from 3 mm to 7 mm. However, the exported positions should be node coordinates in the mesh I believe. In some other cases, this jump does not happen in which I can export continuous xy data.

The node distribution is same in these cases. I am wondering why would this jump happen?

ps: I just used the imbedded post processing tool of fluent

Best regards

weiqiang
