Hey Fluent Community,
I have a certain mesh-check failure which I believe might be responsible for the erroneous results my simulations are giving. I will not get into the details of the simulation in this thread. I have prepared the mesh in ICEM CFD. The mesh is hexahedral. It has three fluid domains (blocks have been assigned to respective parts). Two Domains (greem and orange) are rotary one (gray) is a stationary domain. Mesh Quality in ICEM is around 0.25 Min Angle is around 18. [Not the best, but I read that most solvers accept these]. The Pre-Mesh was converted to an Unstructured Mesh. Before output to Fluent, the mesh has been split with 'internal walls' [to create interfaces in Fluent between rotary-stationary and rotary-rotary domains]. I am using Fluent 14.0. Can anyone suggest what is wrong here and what I can do to correct this? Mesh Check gives the following message in the TUI window: Quote:

Assigned the mesh interfaces in Fluent and ran the mesh check again.
No warnings. Says 'done'. |
