Hi all,
I am simulating a propane catalytic combustion with fluent. The golobal one-step gas phase and surface reaction rate are defined with DEFINE_VR_RATE and DEFINE_SR_RATE macros. I found an interesting thing that is when I use serial mode, then mixture can be ignited. However, when I use parallel model of fluent, mixture can not be ignited. Mixture temperature just drops all the way down to room temperature when iteration get started. I am wondering why would this happen? Do I need to parallelize my UDF code? Best regards Weiqiang |

depends on what you are using inside your UDF you may need to modify it.
You may read chapter Parallel Consideration in Ansys Fluent Customization manual if you need information about it
