Dear friends,
I am simulating conduction heat transfer in a block whose thermal conductivity is different in three directions. In fact, the directions are totally different from the global reference frame directions. So, I have to go through "Anisotropic Conduction". The problem is that when I change the direction of the body (in this case the directions of conductivity is alongside the global ones) and I use orthogonal conductivity, my results are a bit different (around 1 degree Celsius) compared with the condition in which I use Anisotropic Conduction. What could be the reason? Any idea is appreciated deeply. Sasan Ghomi |
