Dear Fluent users,

I wonder how can I calculate time derivatives in ANSYS Fluent? For example, I want to compute dp/dt and export it as an independent variable for postprocessing. Is there any way to do it in Fluent?

Thank you very much in advance.

Best regards,
Peter

Normally derivatives are not saved in Fluent. you can always use UDF and save it in UDM and retrieve it later.

Hello Lolita,

Thank you. Do you happen to have a UDF to save time derivatives that you can share?

Best regards,
Peter
