I am simulating a damper in fluent. I have provided mass and acceleration due to gravity.spring constant is also defined.
now I have to plot the displacement vs time graph. even in the report definitions displacement parameters not available. how to create displacement graph? |

If you are looking for displacement of the rigid body, then that is written using six-DOF model setting. There is option to write motion history. However, displacement is nothing but the position coordinates. So, you can also write all three coordinates (only one if motion is along one axis) for any one point on the rigid body.

please don't mind if my question is bad. I am doing simulations for the first time and am trying to figure out how things work. thank you. |
