Hi,
While performing a heat transfer analysis simulation (2D, transient, coupled heat transfer model), I recorded the heat transfer across boundaries by setting up: Solution->Report Definitions->Flux Reports-> Total Heat Transfer Rate -> Per zone flux (selecting all the walls). See the attached image - A. At the end of the simulations I calculated the fluxes independently by: Results->Reports->Fluxes->Total Heat Transfer Rate (selecting all wall boundaries). See attached image B. However, the heat transfer rates I obtained were different from the above method. Why is this? Which is the correct method? Thanks, |
