Dear All,
I am getting this error nowadays, before this the simulation having 5 million cells were also simulated in this workstation with both serial and parallel processing. Error: This is an educational executable, and can only be used \n with cases containing less than 512000 cells. \n Please exit this fluent session and start another session to continue. Error Object: #f MPI Application rank 0 exited before MPI_Finalize() with status 2 The fl process could not be started. thanks for helping in advance. |

Maybe the licencing conditions changed recently?
I know that CFX has a similar cap at 500k cells for educational licences, maybe this applies to Fluent now too. Can you just decrease the cell amount below 500k and check? |

Yeah it's a licensing problem. You need to get an non-academic license. Figure it out with your license admin.
