Hi All,
I have complex tubular geometry, for which fluid domain has been generated in SPACECLAIM. For meshing, I have used ANSYS meshing. Max aspect ratio in ANSYS is showing 27. But once I am importing mesh to fluent, and when I am performing mesh quality check, Max aspect ratio is showing e^11. What could be the reason ? Is this compatibility issue ?

Thanks.

The way AR or other metrics are defined in Fluent is different from how they are defined in ICEMCFD or Ansys Meshing. AR in Fluent is based on the ratio of farthest point of the cell from its center to the nearest point of cell from its center. If you have very stretched cells or skewed cells, AR reported could be very high. This can also happen because of left-handed faces, i.e., wrong direction of the faces. Check the mesh in Fluent Meshing before bringing into Fluent.
