Barry_Chen is on a distinguished road
Hello,

Recently, I used Fluent software to do some fluid flow modelling. When I was using adaptive mesh to do some calculations, I met some problems:

1. When I used adaptive mesh to do the calculations, the two-dimensional simulation results (XX.plt) can be opened by Paraview while the three-dimensional ones can not.

2. Is there any way to use two physical parameters (for example, temperature and velocity) to control a dynamic adaptive mesh refinement.

3. I was also using a uniform mesh to do some calculations. I found the calculation is very time-consuming. My model considered heat transfer, multi-phase flow and free surface tracing. The mesh number is around 300,000. It needs more than 5 days to finish 1 s physical-process simulation. Is that normal ?

Any useful suggestions are welcome and appreciated!

Kind regards,
Barry
