Hi all,

I am trying to do solver set up for external flow analysis over a complete aircraft model at transonic speed. While clicking on the 'initialize ' button it is throwing me the below error :

================================================== ============================

Node 0: Process 21599: Received signal SIGSEGV.

================================================== ============================
The fluent process could not be started.

What is the possible error happening? can someone help me. I am using fluent v19.2. I need to solve it in urgent basis.

There are several reasons why this can happen and the following will not be a complete list just some ideas:

There might be something wrong with the mesh. Did you check it? No negative volumes or other error messages?

Initial values are reasonable?

Do you use UDM or UDS in combination with UDF (user defined function)? If yes it might be due to correctly initialized UDS or UDM.

I think that this is a compressible problem. Can you try to initialize with lower velocity/pressure values?

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. It seems that there is something wrong with my mesh.

can you tell me on how to check mesh verbosity via TUI command? Because my mesh check is failing.
