Hello,

I am looking at the Eddy Dissipation Combustion Model (EDM) implementation in Fluent. Here is the link.

http://www.afs.enea.it/project/neptu...th/node129.htm

I am not getting clarity with the equations 7.1.26 and 7.1.27. Does these equations calculate different production rate for each species (reactants and products)?
Can someone explain in details how exactly is the EDM model implemented in Fluent ?

Thanks
-Gopal

By looking at that two-equation, yes, It will calculate the production rates for each species (reactants and products).

And about model implementation in Fluent, Exactly I don't know how it is implemented. I just started working on Combustion modeling in Fluent and struggling with lots of issues.
