Hello everybody
Does anybody have the Hydrogen combustion mechanism including 9 species and 19 steps? Actuallu I could not find such a file on the Internet. Your help would be highly appreciated. |

Just e-mail Michael Burke.
Which mechanisms are you looking for if it's not Burke's? |

Actually this very mechanism consists of 9 species and 19 steps.
I just found it at an article. The picture of that mechanism is attached. Is there any Chemkin file for this mechanism? |

Which model is this? What article?
AFAIK, the most recent model for H2/O2 is: Burke, M. P., Chaos, M., Ju, Y., Dryer, F. L., and Klippenstein, S. J. "Comprehensive H2/O2 kinetic model for high-pressure combustion," International Journal of Chemical Kinetics Vol. 44, No. 7, 2012, pp. 444-474. doi: 10.1002/kin.20603 |

Hello
Actually I saw this article (Comprehensive H2/O2 Kinetic Model for High-Pressure Combustio) but the problem is that my reference has 9 species including O2,H,H2,OH,O,H2O,N2,H2O2 and HO2 and 19 steps. Your recommended mechanism has 11 species (Ar and He are not on my reference's mechanism). So should I enter the species and steps by myself into Fluent? This is my reference by which I am going to validate my results: Dmitry Pashchenko, "Comparative analysis of hydrogen/air combustion CFD-modeling for 3D and 2D computational domain of micro-cylindrical combustor", international journal of hydrogen energy, 2017. Your help would be highly appreciated |

I mean you can, it's straightforward. It just takes awhile (maybe 1 hour of your time). It's usually better (for us lazy folks) to just ask the author for their input files.

Hi
Does anyone have the Jachimowski reaction mechanism ( 9 species 19 steps) for hydrogen air combustion? |
