Hi everyone,
I ran a 3-D simulation of a wing with winglet. What I would like to do is be able to define a plane aft of the wing and then be able to read the v and w velocity values in this plane? Is there a way to do this using ANSYS Fluent? So far all I've been able to do is plot the velocity contour on a specified plane but I would like to extract this data somehow so that I have the exact v and w velocity values in order to perform calculations with them. Thanks in advance! |

you can do that with the xyplot and selecting the "write to file" option

Several ways.
You can also define the surface. Then go to file=>write solution data and choose the surface and variables you want to export. Pick your favorite file format: ascii, etc. |
