BOUNDARY_HEAT_FLUX(f,t) command

Hello everyone. I need some help about the BOUNDARY_HEAT_FLUX(f,t) command. I have found conflicting info about what exactly this function returns..
a) returns boundary heat flux in W/m2 for a given face? b) returns boundary heat flux in W for a given face? UDF - Boundary Heat Flux- c) returns boundary heat flux in (W/m2)/m2 , total heat flux for a given face in flux per area? (so that I have to multiply with the face area in order to have W/m2). 4th post in the following discussion. Total Heat Flux Calculated by FLUENT Which one is correct? or none is true and it's something else? Thank you for your time and help! |
