hi guys so I'm working on a project where I'm comparing several heat sinks to find the best one .
I've watched alot of youtube videos but one thing that I noticed was all the guide videos , they put constant # for convection coeff. If I recall correctly from heat transfer course, that coeff should be calculated using some sort of equation that is based on experiment? is there anyway ANSYS can calculate the coeff ? thanks in advance |

Hey!
You're trying to estimate the convection heat transfer coefficient? Or just compute multiple simulations? 1) If you want to estimate: -Try to search for inverse heat problems; -There are nummerous techniques for it; 2) Otimization: -Try to use MATLAB x ANSYS Fluent coupling; -With MATLAB, you should implement the otimization technique you want; -With ANSYS Fluent, you will generate your resutls for comparison; Hope this help |
