Hello everybody,
I have a question concerning the periodic symmetry of a rotating mesh in Fluent. This is part of my master thesis. The model is a stage of a centrifugal compressor. Here, the periodic symmetry should be exploited so the geometry can be divided into 7 sections (51.4 degrees). The compressor wheel is to rotate in the housing and I load a structured mesh. What option is there to solve the described problem without constantly load a new mesh. What would the alternatives be? Thanks in advance Dennis |
