Hi all,

I am doing a micro-channel combustion with fluent. I can get reasonable results without solid wall computation domain. However if I include solid computation domain, problem occurs.

My problem is that the maximum temperature in the channel is always equal to the ignition temperature. For example, if I set the wall temperature (1400K) as ignition temperature, then the final maximum temperature will be 1400K. If I set the wall temperature (900K), then the maximum final temperature would be 900K. By the way, I ignite the mixture by first giving a high enough temperature to the wall then setting the interface wall as coupled.

This is obviously not reasonable. Do anybody know what is the most possible reason for this?

Best.

Weiqiang.
