Hi,
I am simulating a transient model in ansys Fluent Separately(not from workbench). Now I want to export temperature contour in different time steps, But I can't create(or see) results with time step. Is there any way to see time step in the temperature contours? I am grateful that guide me in this case. Thanks. |

Do you want time-step or flow-time? Because isn't there a window that always displays the flow-time?
There is an example here of how to create annotations to show the flow-time but usin cx macro's that I don't like. You can just replace flow-time by time-step if that's what you want. The idea is create an annotation that displays the variable. However, the annotations are static and so you must use the execute commands to update the annotation every time-step. |

In Ansys 19.1 go to the tab "Viewing" --> first section "Display" --> Options and then under Layout tick the box "Titles". Then you will get the flow time (not time step) in the plots (only for transient solver). If you want to export contours for different time steps you have to save data files for these time step or you can use the "Solution Animation" to produce the plots during the solution process (faster and with less data usage)
