benno7 is on a distinguished road
For testing purposes I am trying to minimize the overall pressure loss in a pipe bend with
the Fluent Adjoint solver (version 18.2).
The flow and adjoint solution converged nicely, but for some reason the Expected Change
in the Design Tool remains zero. This means that I cannot update my mesh because the deformation is zero.
I followed the instructions in the ANSYS manual (https://www.sharcnet.ca/Software/Ans...m/flu_adj.html). I checked all the settings several times now
but could not find the reason why the mesh deformation seems to be zero.
Has anyone run into the same problem?
