Hi i am new to CFD so forgive me if this is a dumb question. I am working on supersonic impinge flow using steady-state and I managed to captured the shock wave as described by the paper. However that is provided that my no. of iterations is not too large. If my no. of iterations is too large, the result will show some weird result, usually no flow is shown. If I reduced that iterations, i will get a good result. I thought that if I increase the iterations, the result will be better as the solution got more iterations to stabilize.

When I increase my velocity at inlet, the no. of available iterations that I can use decrease too.
