Hi everyone!
I’m trying to simulate flow field around an airfoil in ground effect using Transition k-kl-omega turbulence model in a ground clearance varying from h/c=1 to h/c=0.05 (h/c = ground clearance/chord). In terms of Cd I get quit good results compared to experimental data, but in h/c=0.05 and 0 AoA the Cd is much bigger than the real value as shown in the attached picture. The attached mesh emage is for 10 AoA. Is there any explanation for the jumb in Cd?! How can I fix it? By the way, flow properties are as below: Re = 3e+5 V = 4.4m/s Regards |
