Hi,

My work can be described as follow:
1- Run Matlab to obtain the geometry for Fluent
2- Run Fluent with this geometry.
3- Export calculated Fluent results by Matlab.
4-If these results are less than the admissible values run Matlab to obtain another geometry and run Fluent again.

In my simulations we have the same mesh, the same condition in fluent (velocity, turbulent model.......) but the geometry change( dimension of inlet, wall......)
If this is possible, How can I do it?

Thanks
julia

First off, if your geometry is changing each time you run MATLAB, your mesh will change as well. So, you need to remesh using similar settings so that you still obtain a comparable mesh.

If you're asking how to export a geometry from MATLAB that can then be input into Ansys, I would suggest using a CAD software such as SolidWorks as the go-between. I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to do, though.
