hello, all
after 200000 iterations, I failed to ignite the mixture, finally. The inlet temperature is 300K. the maximum combustion temperature is 300K. The reaction model is species transport with laminar finite rate. The gas phase mechanism is GRI 3.0. The surface mechanism is DEDUCHMAN. A lot of methods have been used to ignite the mixture, the most promising method is to patch a 2000k temperature to the whole computation domain including fluid and solid. However, the maximum temperature is decreasing all the way down to the inlet temperature 300k. my case is steady state and I follow all the settings in literature. I am wondering why I can not ignite the mixture? thanks very very much for your suggestions!! weiqiang |
