Hi. I'm trying to solve a water pump jack like the one in this video in Fluent.
Everything seems to work fine, except the nodes in the axes of symmetry next to the moving balls, in the zone that is deforming are not being remeshed correctly. No extra nodes are being created when its being stretched, and no nodes are collapsing when the zone is small enough. I'm adding some photos so you can have a better understanding of the problem: Initial Mesh | Ending Mesh This leads to a bad mesh quality and a Negative Cell Volume error. Any ideas of why this is happening or how can I solve it? Thanks in advance. |
