Hi all,
I'm encountering an issue with importing pressures from ansys fluent to static. Essentially, I'm trying to figure out the effects of the pressure over an aircraft and see what the stresses and deflection are. I've imported the pressure by connecting the static module in workbench to the fluent module. The problem is, the mapped forces by static are larger than what they are supposed to be. The total lift force should be approx. 305N, which is the correct value from Fluent. But for some reason after importing into static and mapping onto the surface, the value is inflated to more than 500N. Refer to the attached file for a view of the setup. Any insights into this mystery are appreciated! |
