I am simulating an Electric Arc furnace, where I am burning the Carbon monoxide gas which is being produced inside the furnace with the help of external oxygen in the combustion model of fluent.
Now I have 3 carbon electrodes upon which chemical reaction of the product gas ( Carbon di-oxide , Co2) is to be carried out. Knowing the composition of Co2 at the boundary of these electrode or the flux of Co2 passing through these electrode, we can calculate the amount of product which may get produced due to the surface reaction on the electrodes. Now how to link these two models ? such that the product of combustion links with the surface reaction on the electrodes inside the furnace. |
