Hello,
I try to simulate a rotating channel flow in Ansys Fluent. My channel has the size 125,66 x 20 x 62,8 mm (x,y,z) and z is the rotating axis (x=0). I use the k-epsilon realizable model with Standard Wall Function. My fluid is air with setup of ideal gas. Further I used Periodic boundary conditions for my walls streamwise (x-direction) and my side-walls. Both set translational and for the x-direction I set different values of masss-flow-rate. In cell zones conditions I selceted Frame Motion and different values for roating speed. The bottom and the top wall (y-direction) set to moving wall with an relativ rotational speed of 0 m/s. For methods I use the default settings. I attached the profiles of my literature I want to get. The values of mass flow rate, x-velocity , rotating speed etc. are calculatet correctly. So maybe sombebody can have a look on this settings and has and call help me to get the right velocity-profiles. |

Maybe you should post your velocity-profiles here and others can analyse and help you.
