I am new to model DEM using ANSYS Fluent.
I started with a simple model - a cylinder is filled full with a fluid (density is 1963kg/m^3), the particles (density is 1750kg/m^3) are injected from the bottom of the cylinder. I expected to see the particles are rising due to buoyancy forces. However, the particles are stick together, I didn't see the affect of buoyancy forces. Please advise. Thanks, |
