Hi,
I am trying to simulate the transient state of a rotating cylinder which contains a liquid. The cylinder top is open to atmosphere. I want to get the free surface profile as well (the parabolic profile) when it reaches the steady state. Please help. Thanks. |

Hi, I would probably look at using the VOF multiphase model to simulate the interface between the liquid and air. You may be able to use a 2D axisymmetric case with swirl, if you can apply a tangential velocity to the outer wall of the container.
