Hello everyone, I have a question about the equation of virtual mass force in Discrete Phase Model in Fluent Theory Guide.
In the earlier editions (before Fluent 12.0) of Fluent Theory Guide, the virtual mass force is formulated using the common form as in most literature, see Figure 1. However, after Fluent 15.0, the equation is changed to another form (Figure 2), and there is no related reference to it.
Does anyone know the reference of the new form of virtual mass force?
Thanks a lot.
